From 2006-2011 I moved away from works on paper and onto works on board or canvas. I was experimenting with colour and movement. As well, they seemed to reflect the places in which I had lived and played: the prairies of Canada and the Rockies of Colorado. Many paintings contain a reflective and meditative quality; I called them my Horizons. Others were simply exhuberant displays of energy
